What is Open Banking?
Open banking allows you to securely share your banking data with trusted third parties (Consumer Data Providers) that have been accredited by the ACCC. The ACCC have set strict accreditation criteria, as well as privacy and information security standards. Luno has partnered with Wych, an accredited Consumer Data Provider.

Yes. Accredited Consumer Data Providers meet high-security standards to protect consumer data. They also use secure data sharing practices, such as encryption, tokenisation and APIs. You control access to your financial data. If you change your mind after consenting to share your data, you can revoke your permission at any time. You’ll never need to enter your banking password, if you choose to share your banking data, a one-time password will be sent to you via SMS to your security-registered phone number to help identify you.
